Our Mission

Feeding the Unfed mission is to feed world's hungry, especially children suffering from acute malnutrition through a worldwide network of ready-to-use-therapeutic food (RUTF) manufacturing plants and engage everyone in the fight to end hunger.

The main forms of childhood malnutrition occur predominantly in children <5 years of age living in low-income families and include stunting and wasting, of which severe wasting is commonly referred to as severe acute malnutrition.

Children with severe malnutrition have an increased risk of serious illness and death, primarily from acute infectious diseases. We use International growth standards commonly used for the diagnosis of severe malnutrition and provide therapeutic treatments.

Feeding the Unfed diagnose the early detection of severe wasting and provide outpatient therapy for these conditions using ready-to-use therapeutic foods which form the cornerstone of modern therapy, and only a small percentage of children require inpatient care.

We also provide healthcare and education to the most venerable part of society by deploying mobile clinics and schools to rural parts of various Asian and African countries.
